What started as a need for a new hat in December of 2011, has turned into a passion of hat making. With the help of a few hat makers willing to teach the trade, Gonzales Hat Company was born.
I spent the first year studying hats and how to perfect the process. I learned that I wanted to make a more organic hat and not use any dyes or fillers.
I wanted to build a business for my family to carry on. My children are currently learning to make hats. I hope to continue my growth and carry on my legacy.
